‘The friend zone’, about the most dreaded place by people in a relationship. Nobody wants to go there when you have interest in a person, and that’s because once you’re put there, it’s difficult to escape from it- and that’s not counting the emotional pain and damage it comes with.
Friend- zoning is done by both men and women, so it’s familiar to both genders, although it’s more pronounced with the latter. There are a variety of reasons why people do it (women on this case), but I’m only sharing the most common ones with you…
OVER- FAMILIARITY
It’s weird, really, but it also happens to be one of the leading reasons why women put men in the friend zone. When a woman becomes too close to you before you lay your intentions bare to her, it makes it a lot more difficult for her to want to date you because then, they would have known you so much, and probably observed something a little distasteful about your entire person or become so used to you that they won’t fancy you for a relationship. Nothing wrong with becoming scarce now and then. This is not always accurate, but it is mostly.
OVER- NICENESS
I know it’s ridiculous that something as beautiful as niceness, which ordinarily, should make anyone want someone so badly would act as a deterrent instead, but it’s the truth too. Most women view men who are too nice as weak, and unable to stand against something; “buy me this”, they’ll buy, “give me that”, they’ll oblige. It makes women feel more powerful, and to be honest, as much as power is exciting, women want to be with a man who is more powerful than they are.
And these are pretty much the commonest reasons women throw men into the dreaded friend zone. Like I said before now, there are too many others, but if you break these two down, but they’re the summary of everything else you could put into perspective
